Connect your platforms
Set these in Netlify → Environment variables (or local .env.local). Demo mode works until they're present.
Neon database
DATABASE_URL is set — data can persist. If tables are missing at runtime, run npm run db:push once from a laptop with the same URL (not on Netlify).
Clerk auth
Freelancer sign-in is live.
Stripe payments
Invoice Checkout can run. Add Price IDs for Solo/Studio billing.
Stripe Billing prices
Solo/Studio Price IDs detected.
Stripe Connect (Express)
Connect is scaffolded but off. After Dashboard Connect setup, set STRIPE_CONNECT_ENABLED=true.
Cloudflare R2 uploads
Add R2_ACCOUNT_ID, keys, and R2_BUCKET_NAME for real file drops.
Resend email
Add RESEND_API_KEY — until then reminders only log.
Scheduled reminders
Optional: set CRON_SECRET so the daily Netlify schedule is locked down.
Payouts — Stripe Connect
Freelancer invoice money should land in your Stripe Express account (Direct charges). Billing subscriptions stay on the platform account.
Off until you enable Connect in Stripe Dashboard and set STRIPE_CONNECT_ENABLED=true.
